1. Bringing Film to Faisalabad:

The First-Ever Film Residency

We launched Faisalabad’s first-ever film residency, a milestone for our city’s indie film scene. Within just two weeks, we received 250 applications, showcasing the growing passion for filmmaking.

  • After rigorous interviews with a panel of five senior mentors, we shortlisted 50 aspiring filmmakers.

  • These finalists went through intensive training and film assignments, and over 90 days, we produced four short films with them.
This residency proved that the thirst for storytelling exists—our community just needed a platform to nurture it.

2. Ayesha Kanwal: Breaking Barriers in Acting

Ayesha always dreamed of acting, but due to family restrictions and societal perceptions of the showbiz industry, she was never allowed to pursue it.

  • Through FFS, her mother met our team, and with our guidance, she gained her family’s support to take her first step in acting.

  • She starred as a lead in three short films, working tirelessly to hone her skills.

  • Now, she’s auditioning for student films and independent projects while also managing FFS’s social media.

3. Eman Noor

From film aspiration to making films

Eman Noor joined our residency unsure of her career path. Through hands-on training and mentorship, she found her calling in filmmaking.

  • Right after completing the residency, she directed her first film with her university classmates—turning her passion into action.

  • Today, she continues to create impactful stories, a journey that started with FFS.
